I created this software to help pastors, teachers, students, and churches faithfully study, preach, and communicate God's Word. Each of these apps were carefully and thoughtfully designed and tested through the rigors of real life pastoral ministry. My heart is to help pastors leverage modern technology while remaining faithful to their call to study, exegete, write sermons, and preach the Word.

I built PreachSermon due to my frustrations with presenter apps that just never quite fit what I was looking for-- a simple teleprompter style app with just enough features to make it powerful. I don't need any awkward highlighting or glitchy voice recognition. I don't need useless reverse text features. I'm not trying to make a video with it. I just want my text my way, sitting in front of me, doing what I need it to do.
- PreachSermon presents your sermon manuscript or notes beautifully on the iPad in autoscroll or page mode.
- Import DocX files or paste your sermon.
- Use the text editor to make any last minute changes.
- In Preach mode, easily increase / decrease font size, spacing, and autoscroll speed on the fly.
- Use Autoscroll Mode (tap start/stop; manual scroll) or Page Mode (page-by-page; tap forward, tap back (left edge); manual scroll).
- Use your Apple Pencil to quickly annotate or make quick corrections on the fly (my favorite and most used feature). I've scribbled in reminders about last minute announcements that were sprung on me minutes before service.
- Go back into text edit mode to type any major changes if needed (i.e a closing prayer you were suddenly inspired with).
- Export your edited sermon to DocX for safekeeping.
- Archive your sermons in the app for later retrieval.
- You can even write your whole sermon in editor mode and then preach it (I've done it).
- Very low power consumption. Preach a whole sermon using only 1% of battery. *Heavy Apple Pencil annotating may consume more energy.
- No more fighting with other clunky presenter apps that have no clue how preachers preach and adjust in the last minute, or need to conserve battery for a full day of preaching multiple services.

WriteSermon is AI-assisted sermon preparation designed to help pastors think deeply, study faithfully, and preach God’s Word with clarity.
WriteSermon isn’t an AI sermon writer.
It’s a sermon preparation environment designed by a pastor for pastors, students, and teachers.
Rather than replacing careful Bible study, WriteSermon encourages it. Every feature is built around one conviction: the pastor should remain the primary interpreter, theologian, and preacher. AI serves as an assistant—not an author.
Whether you have thirty minutes to prepare or three weeks to immerse yourself in a passage, WriteSermon adapts to your workflow while keeping you firmly in control.

Thoughtful Feedback
Both Study modes offer section by section feedback: Strengths; Areas to Explore; Scriptures to Consider; Questions for Further Study; Cautions.
One of my favorite features is Respond to Caution. Rather than forcing agreement, WriteSermon allows a single thoughtful response to an AI caution. The AI then considers your reasoning objectively. It may reaffirm its original concern or acknowledge that your explanation meaningfully changes the contexts. The goal isn’t to win an argument. The goal is better exegesis.
Build Your Sermon
Sermon Project Mode uses A.I. synthesis of your study to suggest a sermon direction or goal, theological focus, and tone. You can either take it, merge it with your own, or leave it. Most importantly, your study derived interpretation and application are preserved, and all of the data is used to create an outline that you can further refine, and fill out. When you're ready, hit Focus Mode and start writing your sermon from your outline. Don't have much time to for full studies? Start in Sermon Project mode, fill out your passage, sermon direction, theological focus, pastoral burden, tone, and audience and build outlines from that. Still under your control.

Plan Entire Sermon Series
Whether you’re preaching through Malachi, Romans, Proverbs, or a topical series, WriteSermon helps you develop a coherent preaching strategy before you ever write the first sermon. Set your theological focus. Define your pastoral burden. Determine your tone. Choose your desired length (4 weeks or 20 weeks).
Provide your own passage divisions—or allow AI to suggest them. Then evaluate, revise, regenerate, and shape the series until it reflects your own convictions. Sermon titles, direction, focus, and pastoral burdens are pre-populated and sent to Sermon Project, ready to be outlined or ready to be further refined by you in one of the two study modes (or both).
One of the interesting features of sermon series planner is the ability to quickly make a sermon series from virtually any biblical theme. Want a 6 week series on Jesus' teachings about love and hate? Simply set up the parameters in Strategy Builder, use your own themes for sermons or ask A.I. to suggest them. Hit generate and A.I. suggests a series plan, scriptures, themes, titles, preaching strategy. Generate your series plan from that, and a full sermon series is generated, with each sermon set up and ready to be sent to Sermon Project Mode for further study, outlining, and writing.
Plan Your Entire Year
Create your yearly calendar, add special services, midweek services, and exclude any service from the sermon series plan. Choose the start date for your series plan and send it over to the preaching calendar. One click exports your yearly preaching calendar as a professional DOCX ready to share with your church staff. What once took days now takes minutes—freeing more time for shepherding people instead of managing spreadsheets.

AfterSermon doesn’t replace your ministry—it multiplies it. You decide which resources to create, edit everything before sharing it, and use only the tools that fit your church. The goal is simple: spend less time recreating content and more time shepherding people.
Why I Build These Tools
These tools are born out of a desire to enhance ministry effectiveness by leveraging technology. Technology can be a pain, especially when it's not doing what it's supposed to do. Technology can also be a tremendous blessing to the church. I believe Jesus can use modern technology to further the message of the Gospel in ways that were never dreamed possible. When A.I. came on the scene, I, as a pastor, was both intrigued and reticent. Intrigued by the nearly endless possibilities and opportunities A.I. presents to ministry and mission. Reticent due to what I consider the improper use of A.I. in creating content FOR a user rather than coming alongside to assist, guide, offer considerations, even coach, to make the user more informed, more equipped, more creative, and more intelligent. Improper use of A.I. can make the user less intelligent, less creative, less intuitive, less equipped, less informed.
A.I. is Here to Stay
In recognizing that A.I. is here to stay (and you should recognize that too) and a major component in any form of online research, I set out to develop ministry tools that leverage A.I. in a more faithful way. A.I. in my apps is very present but is used to assist in generating content rooted in the user's own direction, focus, burden, and study. In WriteSermon, the user is ever responsible for writing their own sermon. The app encourages deeper study to ensure the user is coming with their own points and ideas. In AfterSermon, the pastor's sermon is the basis of all generated content and custom tailored to remain faithful to only that which the pastor has communicated. For pastors who genuinely want to resource their congregation with study tools but simply don't have the time, this app is the difference between making that a reality today or never providing resources. This, To me, is the right way to use a technology that will otherwise be used in all the wrong ways. Pastors need to lead the way. I hope these tools will help intrigued pastors and ministry leaders adopt A.I. in a way that does not compromise integrity.
